There are a number of Private Institutions presently working besides the government run schools in District Charsadda, however with the increase in population and influx of migration to urban areas, these educational institutions still needs to be enhanced to certain level in order to improve the overall literacy rate of the district.
It is pertinent to mention that a reasonable number of these functioning schools are lacking basic facilities of washrooms, sufficient number of classrooms, modern techniques of education, furniture and other classroom essentials. Non-provision of all these adequate facilities at schools mainly contribute to increase in dropouts and less enrolments at Primary level
At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 1,610,960, of which 817,651 were males and 793,298 females. Rural population was 1,340,756 (83.23%) while the urban population was 270,204 (16.77%). The male literacy rate was 66.17% while the female literacy rate was 35.04%. 873 people in the district were from religious minorities. Mainly Pashtu is the predominant language, spoken by 99.13% of the population.
In view of the above scenario, Foundation School Charsadda will try its best to bridge up this gap to provide good educational opportunities to the students of the area with best available tools & equipment initially from class-KGto class 8th. However, with the passage of time, it will be upgraded to next higher levels of education with further improving its existing facilities.
Foundation School Charsadda will provide quality education with modern class room tools e.g. Computer laboratories, up to-date syllabus with innovative learning, well equipped Library, Halland specious classrooms for students, play grounds for sports & recreational facilities, Indoor games & Canteen facilities.
